“My experience from start to finish was extremely positive. During two planning meetings, Scott and Greg discussed my vision d for each bathroom, provided me lots of additional information to consider (I found their website featuring detailed photos of some of their earlier projects particularly helpful), and helped me develop comprehensive final plan for each bathroom which included detailed cost estimates for each stage of the work as well as recommended vendors for all required materials and services. I then briefly visited each vendor (all of whom were extremely helpful), informed Scott and Greg of my design decisions, and turned the bathrooms over to them. They were very up-front with me concerning their schedule, Work on my bathrooms could not begin until they had completed several jobs already in progress or scheduled prior to mine. They estimated beginning in approximately six weeks after our final design meeting, and were ultimately able to begin in roughly five. Greg would do most of the work on my bathrooms. He arrived at my home each day between 8:30 and 9:30, and normally reached logical stopping points between 3:30 and 4:30. Someone in the family was often home while the work was being done, but I did not feel compelled to have anyone present, and family members kept to their normal schedules. I simply provided Greg with a house key and garage door code to ensure he could come and go as needed. Throughout the project, Greg treated my house with kid gloves. My property was always moved well away from the work areas or well protected, and drop cloths were always patiently installed at the start of each work day. I think that my house was actually cleaner when they left at quitting time that it was when they arrived each morning. The meticulous attention-to-detail needed to ensure high quality work was evident throughout the process. Some tasks were incredibly exacting and time-consuming, but visible progress was made each day and Greg was great about letting me know what he had accomplished and what he planned for the next day as he left each evening.. Scott also made a point of meeting with me regularly weekly to review progress and ensure I was satisfied with the work. Approximately two months (including long weekends for Memorial Day and Fourth of July, and a 2-week wait for specially ordered glass), my bathrooms were completely remodeled and I could not be happier with the results. One last note…..I had a third bathroom that the family generally used while the other two were being worked on, but Greg was great about scheduling his work to minimize the time that the bathrooms being worked on were “off-limits.” I believe that had we been required to use the either of the two being worked on, Greg would have found a way to accommodate us. These bathroom makeovers were my first experience with major home renovations, and I went in with more than a little concern. The great experience I had with Scott Hall Remodeling makes me far less reluctant to consider similar projects in the future.”
